Your guides for this Journey:

Miriam Hamisa is a Hazanit and Mekonenet who offers sound and song influenced by a blended Sephardi and Ashkenazi American heritage. She guides collaborative Jewish song and sound journeys, guided sound healing and integrative somatic meditations. Miriam is a Brooklyn-based artist, facilitator, and sound healing practitioner whose work blends sound healing, voice, and integrative somatic practice to create immersive experiences of presence, coherence, and return.

Through sound, silence, and attentive listening, Miriam creates spaces that support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and deep rest. Her practice is rooted in North African, European-American, and diasporic Jewish ritual and liturgical traditions, drawing on the melodies, textures, and communal practices of Jewish prayer as pathways into presence, connection, and wholeness. She approaches these traditions not as static inheritances, but as living practices—meant to be listened to, inhabited, and renewed in relationship with the present moment.

Gershon Ben Laibl / Gregg A Jackson is an integrative health practitioner, experienced workshop leader, healthcare executive and lifelong student of Jewish wisdom. For several decades, he has explored Kabbalah, the Zohar, Chassidus, and other streams of Jewish mysticism with many of the world‘s most recognized authorities, integrating their teachings with meditation, breathwork, yoga, and contemporary approaches to emotional and physical well-being.

Alongside his Jewish, spiritual, and holistic practices, Gregg holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, has completed graduate work in biomedical engineering, and holds a master’s degree in Organizational Development and Transformation. His professional work has helped launch more than $6 billion in medical technology and services and contributed to more than $33 billion in mergers and acquisitions, settlement agreements, and licensing transactions with companies including Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic.

Drawing upon his professional training, lived experience, and own journey through loss, healing, and transformation, Gregg creates warm, grounded spaces where ancient wisdom becomes personally meaningful and practically useful. His workshops invite participants to reconnect with the body, quiet the mind, deepen spiritual awareness, and discover pathways toward greater wholeness, resilience, and purposeful living.  And most importantly connect with our Divine source, HaKadosh Baruch Hu, as that is where all healing is truly comes from.
